About Us

In 2000 Nadine started her journey in the medical field as a Registered Nurse in mental health services, covering  Acute Adult, Child and Adolescent,  forensic, Secure and Extended care, and Residential Mental health services. Nadine has seen it all and learnt so much. In 2009 Nadine achieved her Masters of Nursing (Mental Health) at Monash University and for the next 11 years since then she has worked in the Public Hospital Sector in Mental Health, Monash and Federation Universities,  Family Services , welfare for the Department of Education Victoria, in GP clinics and Head to Help.

Fast forward to 2020, Absolute Minds was created.  Nadine's passion for horses and Mental Health have combined and now support individuals in a non-clinical setting. The outdoor setting creates a grounding energy to sessions and allows participants to  explore their challenges freely. The non-ridden equine therapy provided a safe place to build skills in mindfulness, self-compassion, distress tolerance building and develop wellbeing though establishing hope and a positive mindset.

Absolute Minds is not limited to individuals with diagnosed mental health issues, individuals with Autism Spectrum challenges, neuro-diverse, disabilities and desire for improved self-awareness are all welcome. We are a private clinic however willing to support individuals with support of NDIS.
